Refurbishing, disposing, or recycling equipment received through transactions with Market Velocity and its customers, requires you as our trusted partner to:
- Comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances concerning disposal or recycling of all non-functioning and non-repairable used equipment (including the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), 42 U.S.C. sec. 9601, et seq., and the Resource Conversation and Recovery Act (RCRA), 42 U.S.C. sec. 6901).
- Adhere to the highest standards for clearing and sanitizing magnetic media, per Department of Defense (DOD), Level 5.
- Remove all affixed asset tags.
- Comply with all licensing laws and third party intellectual property rights related to reselling of software, i.e., OEM software.
- Keep true, accurate, and legible books and records in English of your processes, procedures and policies for refurbishment and disposal of equipment, as well as all financial aspects of transactions with Market Velocity and its clients, and its client’s customers.
- Grant Market Velocity and its representatives the right to audit and make extracts of such books and records relating to its processes, procedures and policies for refurbishment, disposal and financial aspects of transactions with Market Velocity and its customers.
Values and attributes we demand from our Disposition Partners
- Longevity – Need to be incorporated at least 3 years.
- Product specialties –variety is necessary, at a minimum 3 of the product categories we already support.
- Refurbishment capabilities
- Facilities capacity - systems to support the efficient processing and tracking of large quantity, as well as single unit transactions.

Enrollment Process
Once a candidate has successfully completed the enrollment process, they will have access to Market Velocity’s state of the art partner site that allows their personnel to update trade values, have visibility to which products are in transit to their warehouses, log receipt of products, and communicate audit results and discrepancies.
